Dr. Lynne Denyer:

Dr. Lynne Denyer:

 

Dr. Denyer was born in southeastern Michigan, where she earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University on a Merit Scholarship.  She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 in Philadelphia, and was awarded the The American College of Veterinary Surgeon's Student Surgery Award in Small Animal Surgery in her senior year.

After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Denyer moved to the New Jersey Shore area where she has practiced companion animal medicine and surgery for 23 years.

Wishing to balance her western medical skills with complementary medicine, Dr. Denyer received her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Reddick, Florida in 2006.

Her areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, histology, geriatrics, and palliative care/hospice for the terminally ill. In her free time, Dr. Denyer enjoys oil painting, print making, beadwork, hiking, and practices Raja and Bhakti Yoga.

 

 

Dr. Todd Werkmeister:

Dr. Werkmeister was born and raised in rural Nebraska.  He obtained his B.S. from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University.  While in veterinary school Dr. Werkmeister worked in the clinical pathology laboratory and developed an interest in cytology.  

After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Werkmeister moved to Toms River, NJ. where he worked 21 years at a local veterinary hospital.  Dr. Werkmeister has also served as a staff veterinarian at the Atlantic County Animal Shelter since 2004.  By performing surgery at the shelter, he has helped thousands of animals find their forever homes.  

His areas of interest include internal medicine, clinical pathology, and soft tissue surgery.  In his free time he enjoys the beach, cooking, hiking, amateur photography, traveling, and making YouTube videos of his trips.  

Dr. Denyer and Dr. Werkmeister have worked together for more than 15 years.  We welcome you to our practice and look forward to helping your pets live long, and healthy, lives.
